The start of something bad

On Friday, I made my first online purchase, a rather substantial achievement for me. I purchased a pair of shoes on Rue La La. I hear it's important to have more than one pair of shoes so you can rotate them and make them last longer. This past christmas/bday, my sister got me a pair of Johnston Murphys, which, while very durable, are definitely starting to show wear. It doesn't help that I don't take the greatest care of them.

The shoes I got were a pair of Cole Haan Air Ludlows. Very bland but I guess I got to start somewhere. And the whole Nike Air cushion technology w/e sort of cheapens the shoe, but I got it because it was $89 and it has a lot of functional purpose -- it'll increase the life of my current pair and it's good to wear to work and out casually. Think of it as an investment in yourself, Lin!

Well tonight, after watching my hopes of leaving the office by 10:30 get shot down, I decided to take a 15 minute break and go on Rue La La. French Connection is having a sale and they had two jeans on sale, both nothing special about them. But I really do need a new pair of jeans. I have a few pairs but none of them fit really well except for the pair Bing got me. So in reality, I only have one pair of jeans... and even though these FCUK jeans are nothing special, you should get a pair for yourself Lin.

I need to get this baobab while it's small >.<
